My platform has been raising awareness to texting and driving since November 2010 when Meridian became the 2nd city in Idaho to ban texting while driving. I started a campaign called "DONT" meaning "Drive On No Texting" to educate parents and teenagers of the dangerous act while sharing real life stories through my facebook page.."just DONT" . It is my hope that families may drive safely wherever the road leads them without suffering tragedy as a couple of local families have suffered such a loss.
