We were invited to Eastern Idaho to the events in McCammon, Idaho. McCammon is a cute small town tucked away just 20 minutes outside of Pocatello. We had a wonderful time meeting people and enjoying the small hometown feeling. Thank you to the residents for making us feel so welcomed! Greg and I stayed overnight just 12 minutes up the canyon in Lava Hot Springs where the hot springs are World renowned. So beautiful if you ever have a chance to go it would be well worth the trip! Guaranteed!
On our way to the rodeo after the parade.
The best part..the bucking broncos!
The rodeo Queen during the opening of the Star-Spangled Banner
The stick horse race..or in other words (water noodle) horse race!
The Rodeo begins!
The rodeo princesses and Rodeo Queen
Mrs. Idaho America drenched queen when a cloud rolled through and dumped rain for 45 minutes. We held out, however until the end of the rodeo for the bull riding. So worth it!!
Still smiling after the rain came and went with my former pageant sister, Brandi Townsend
With some of the kids after the rodeo
Part of the parade was this van that had a donkey and a bull inside..no kidding!
Getting ready to mount my horse..the mustang for the parade. ;)
I wished that my driver had a little practice "reigning my mustang" as I was nearly bucked off the back several times with the stick shift. Must have had too much horsepower to handle! ;)
